We are one of the top manufacturers of rubber couplers in North America with many molds for standard sizes and styles. We manufacturer both rubber couplers in compression molding, as well as make fabric reinforced rubber couplers using a mandrel wrapping manufacturing process. The most common material we use for our couplers is platinum cured silicone rubber that has excellent knotty tear resistance, excellent heat resistance, excellent ozone resistance and elongation. This material works great for most applications as the material holds up very well in the toughest of conditions and does not degrade like many other types of rubber does that are used for couplers. Most other types of rubbers used in couplers (thermoplastic elastomers, polyurethane, EPDM) have very poor tear resistance when there is a nick in the rubber. Nicks are common in couplers especially since they often mate with metal couplers that have sharp edges.

For the applications that require fabric reinforcement, we also manufacturer hundreds of fabric reinforced couplers. We often manufacturer nomex and polyester reinforced silicone couplers. It is common for many applications for our hoses to use a liner of either FVMQ or FKM to give the hose better resistance to solvents, gas, or vapors.

While our silicone rubber is the best option for most rubber couplers, we also can manufacturer couplers using other materials including, EPDM, polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomers and more.
