Injection Molding

Injection Molding

We have a wide variety of machine sizes from 50 to 500T in sizes to produce anything from small 1 cavitiy molds up to large multi cavity molds. We work with a wide variety of elastomers (TPV, TPU, TPO, FKM, silicone, EPDM and much more), but also work with traditional rigid plastics as well like nylon (PA), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene (PE), and much more.

We have over 1000 injection molds with most common mold bases so we are often able to create family/mud tools to keep down tooling costs to a minimum.

Injection molding is the best option when thermoplastics (elastomers or rigid) are the preferred material for the application, or for some high volume thermoset applications. In most cases compression molding or transfer molding is the preferred manufacturing method since those processes can handle most volumes efficiently, the tooling cost is much less, and in the case of transfer molding the output is similar to injection molding for high volume small parts.
