Window Trim Seals

Window Trim Seals

We are one of the largest manufacturers in Mexico for window seal trim using molding as well as extrusion + splicing. We have 10s of different variations that we make for glass and PC/PMMA windows.

Molding is the preferred method for making window trim seals when the size permits as the part can be made in one step, there are no seams, and the cosmetics are better. The most common materials that we use are silicone and EPDM for these seals. Our compounds are developed to have excellent environmental aging resistance to ensure that the parts will not degrade, discolor or not preform as intended after long periods of exposure to the elements including sunlight, ozone, heat, cold temperatures and more. We have fully automated equipment that pulls vacuum, and separates the multiple plates to efficiently demold these parts that often have complex geometries including undercuts. We have presses up to 8ft x 6ft to make very large seamless trim seals and are able to use multiple platens to efficiently make these large seamless parts.

When molding seamless trim seals isnt feasible we extrude and then splice together the extruded segments to make the window trim seals. The most common materials that we use for this extrusion + splicing manufacturing method is also EPDM and silicone. We have 4 extrusion lines for both organic rubbers (EPDM, NBR, FKM, SBR and more) as well as for silicone so we have ample manufacturing capacity. We also have semi automated splicing presses for quickly and accurately joining together the segments to create one joined trim seal.

We make our tooling in house with our large CNC machine shop with 38 CNC machines which allows us to have a quick turn around and provide low cost tools to our customers.
